Angela_2006 Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 I,ve been searching the 1901 census looking for my maternal great grandfather Charles Jones and cant find him anywhere. He was born in Sheffield approx 1875 parents are Thomas Jones and Mary Jones. He appears on the 1891 census but listed as Charley Jones living with his family age 6 and again on the 1911 census with his wife and children. I know he enlisted for 1 years service in 1914 and states that he had previously served in the yorkshire military.
