Beautiful plane, too heavy on fuel, too noisy for most airports, limited carrying capacity.

 

The crash was not due to any mechanical defect

 

Anyone who would like to see the inside of one, the prototype is on display at Duxford Air Museum

 

You can also take a tour around a Concorde at the aviation viewing park at Manchester Airport.

Regarding the subject, I don't think it would still be flying, I think the cause of the crash was repaired and already refitted to all the remaing plaines (If I'm thinking the crash was a break in the fuel tank from debris on the runway). It was the cost and very low numbers flying on Concord which made it unsustainable, I'm sure it's only short term though, another super sonic passenger plane will be around within our life time I'm sure, the Wright brothers made the first flight just 110 years ago! really surprises me how far we have come in that short time.
