Harleyman Posted September 2, 2012 Share Posted September 2, 2012 For those of you who remember the 1960s Hal David in partnership with Burt Bacharach created such musical hits as "Rain drops keep falling on my head" "What the world needs now" and "Close to you" to name a few. Very sad, but they brought a lot of pleaure to millions of people in their lifetimes, which is more than most people can ever claim. RIP Mr Hal David - and thanks for the music!
