Chatsworth, too expensive?

Recommended Posts

The op is referring to the Country Fair that was held this weekend, not the general price (it's normally free to go in the grounds apart from a parking fee) but obviously there's a charge to go in the house and gardens. We go to the fair every year and seeing as its free for kids under 14 I don't think it's a bad price for families. We were there yesterday from 9.45 and didnt leave until 7.45 so certainly had iur moneys worth :-) We alwsys take a huge picnic, enough for lunch and tea so dont spend on food and drink (id rather save it for the craft tents ;-) ) We were saying yesterday that if it was any cheaper then it would be too busy, and there were thousands there yesterday!

Put that way you are probably right, next year we will make more of a day of it and get our moneysworth.
