Chatsworth, too expensive?

Recommended Posts

But then it would probably suffer the same fate as Greenhill Hall which was bought by compulsory purchase and the family that had lived there for centuries evicted.

Indeed, then demolished to make way for the City Councils works dept.

Legalised vandalism at its worst by the then Labour council (not a lot changes does it)

Here's an old thread about it..........

It's a free (ish) country, and if I wish to read and make comment on another's postings then I will.

I'm not being rude, I'm pointing out that I feel his/her posts (in my opinion) don't fit into my way of thinking.

"Blatherings" I'm not even sure it's a real word, just seemed to fit the occasion.

Just checked...Definition of BLATHER: to talk foolishly at length Looks like I was right then!!:D

No you do what you want my wife does.:hihi:

Ingratiate, more like disintergrate or exterminate, or for that lot, just pure hate, they are horrible people, well just look how they are ruining this country.:gag:

Actually they are the people who made this country great. Those who have ruined it are the socialists throughout the last 100 years and most recently the Labour party under Brown and Blair.

You've obviously forgotten the run down state and conditions of our schools under 18 years of Tory neglect. There were leaking roofs, rotting windows etc.

All this during a boom time under the Tories. As usual, they did nothing to help the workers. I wonder how many private schools found their buildings in that state and condition.

Your reading of history is interesting. The neglected schools you mention are predominently in areas with Labour councils. If it wasnt for the Conservative party and the Liberals there wouldnt be compulsory free education.

Every time a Tory government has come into power following a Labour debacle it has had to sort out the economy as in 1951, so it is now.
