Indeed, then demolished to make way for the City Councils works dept. Actually they are the people who made this country great. Those who have ruined it are the socialists throughout the last 100 years and most recently the Labour party under Brown and Blair. You've obviously forgotten the run down state and conditions of our schools under 18 years of Tory neglect. There were leaking roofs, rotting windows etc. All this during a boom time under the Tories. As usual, they did nothing to help the workers. The neglected schools you mention are predominently in areas with Labour councils. If it wasnt for the Conservative party and the Liberals there wouldnt be compulsory free education.
