mediumfast
The Washington is one of the few pubs in the city centre that has almost retained its character over the years and still retains a good atmosphere, in the twenty or so years I have been in I have never seen any trouble and as I stated earlier the music is great. If the price of a pint is off putting I am sure there are plenty of other pubs that will welcome the trade infact I think there's a Wetherspoons up the road. mogwai84
Really like the Washington, although it does get pretty rammed. Not the cheapest place but a good atmosphere and good and varied music.

Roger123W
Me and my dog like it in there ... though it is expensive to sample the smelly shabby interior that needs a make over - especially since they got rid of all the music pics .. but the beer garden and the people who frequent it are all cool ...
