Her Mother was called Ruth but there's confusion about her Husband and family members. Any help you can give would be gratefully recieved! hillsbro Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 Hi Janesh20 - Doris may have been the Doris Hartley who was born in Sheffield in 1921, her mother's maiden name given as Holmes, and whose parents could have been William H. Hartley and Ruth A. Holmes who married in Sheffield in 1915. Two possible marriage entries for a Doris Hartley in Sheffield are to Ronald Lee in 1939 and to Jack Holt in 1942. Your other thread mentions Jack and Doris Holt; possible children from the 1942 marriage are Sandra, born 1943 and Betty, born 1945. Hope this is helpful!.
