zoenrich
Just seen 4 Ring necked parakeets in a tree at the back of the garden in North Sheffield - just wondering if anyone else has seen them recently or why they are likely to be this far North. carosio
A week or so ago there has been some kind of parrot landing in a nearby tree during the night, the squawking it made had to be heard to be believed!
chris774
From what i've picked up they are native in parts of th UK but generally in small pockets. I was at Selsdon Park Hotel, Selsdon, Surrey last year and there were about 30-40 of them living in the trees around the hotel.
