Some people blame Thatcher for destroying their lives and communities, so fair play to them if they want wear t-shirts and celebrate her death. Of course a real victory would be the defeat of Thatcherism, not just the death of Thatcher. A friend of mine thought that had happened during the Blair years....how wrong and deluded he was. I1L2T3 Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 T-shirts being sold at the TUC conference celebrating the eventual death of Thatcher have been condemned by both Tory MPs and some within the union movement. Is selling these T-shirts "sickening" and "tasteless" or is the seller showing true Thatcherite "entrepreneurial flair"? That is pretty distasteful.
