Yes the Merseyside officers' reports certainly seem to support the theories about fans drunk / late / without tickets. The lateness could of course be accidental, but sadly being drunk and without tickets is a deliberate choice. Yes there's blame to be apportioned all over the place, and to change police statements is a horrible act of cowardice, but it would be nice for a Liverpool fan to step forward and admit to being drunk and without a ticket. Or were they all sober and with tickets ?

On a similar theme. In 1983 Sheffield Wednesday had an F.A. Cup semi final against Brighton. A couple of weeks before that match a colleague of mine was talking to some Everton fans in a motorway service station. They asked him if he was going to the semi final match, but my mate told them he wasn't because he didn't have a ticket. The Everton fans told him that it didn't matter because they never got tickets for big games like that. They said that hey just turned up in numbers and crowded round an entrance. They said that if there were enough of them the police would let them in somewhere. I know it's not Liverpool fans and it was 6 years before Hillsborough, but it indicates a certain mind set, I think.

If true, it also indicates the police's failings to adequately control crowds.

I was in the Pen Nook at Deepcar that afternoon, there were around 12 Liverpool fans in the pub having a few beers and a laugh with the locals. None of the fans had tickets to the game but they did have a plan which they were only too happy to discuss. They and others who were in on the plan would "mob" the Leppings lane entrance in the knowledge that the police would open the gate to prevent anyone getting crushed or the wall collapsing. They were happy that it worked for them the previous year at the same fixture and saw no reason to suppose it wouldnt work again, they had similar plans for other grounds as well.

So, South Yorkshire police must have been familiar with this alleged planned tactic of of 'mobbing' at the Leppings Lane entrance, yet did not even 'filter' the crowds to prevent a build-up of supporters in that area. Wow.

That is one of the failings I have stated was wrong with the match order but does that exonerate the fans ?? There are also statements from a police Commander from hull relating to the fans in the in the 5th round doing a similar thing even charging the gates but on a smaller scale, also a Met commander who was amazed to see so many scousers at wembley without tickets after what happened at Hillsbro.

Well that got a few spleens vented didnt it but back to the original question.

Thanks for the help with the various websites naming the on duty police officers.

Chief inspector Robert Creaser is the only potential candidate with matching intitials to the corrupt officer seeking to have me imprisoned.

There may be others with the same initials who were not employed at Hillsborough.

Can anyone provide info as to what Mr Creaser was doing in 2004 ? -just so i can include or eliminate him from suspicion.

Needless to say if Mr Creaser posts on here then he can answer the question in person and if the FOI team at S Y Police have a change of heart then they can at any time name the officer if it is not Mr Creaser.

You are welcome to the info on the website, my pleasure although I am a total loss regarding who is wanting to have you imprisoned and for what. What I can catagorically state is my conscience as regards what occurred on that fateful day is clear, may those that aren't never rest and live with it for the rest of their lives, that is everyone not just fans. I see no need to comment further on the matter unless anyone directs any comments to me personally which may require a reply.

Looks like you are banging your head against a brick wallThe fact there was an infux of thousands of fans between 2.30pm and 3 pm made it almost impossible to police in my mind I believe the Nottingham Forest fans were all in the stadium by 2.45 pm I note certain posters side step the point made regarding Merseyside mounted officers decribing their OWN fans as one of the most difficult crowds they have ever policed in 31 years And it beggars belief if their statements were Deemed Irrelevant

Hopefully their statements will be scrutinised along with the Sheffield polices and Irvine Patnick should be asked to explain his naivety,,, i,like you, hope to see fairation and a conclusion to this long drawn out matter.

Yes me as well, although it was suggested that no evidence will be allowed before3pm at the new enquiry Make of that what you will.I have to say unless all the statements are seen and heard then many people will continue to question the events of the day

i dont know about anyone else but i am getting fed up of hearing about hillsborough this and that! new enquiry, blame them blame him etc etc etc its not going to bring those poor people back, it looks to me just a way for easing a few conciences, the simple fact is that the ones who died were doing no wrong apart from being in the wrong place at the wrong time! as for no blame being apportioned to the liverpool fans what a load of ******* if thats the case just answer this were all the fans outside lining up in an orderly queue awaiting their turn to enter sober as judges...............NO! blame can be put in many directions but again Liverpool are playing the victims again.

Until the fans accept they were partially to blame, then as you say people will continue to question it.
