Guest
Errr. Ground not fit to host event? Wouldn't the venue location have been decided between the police and the FA?
Mr Bloom
Wouldn't the venue location have been decided between the police and the FA? If you read the report (actually the first day or so of the present inquest transcripts give a brilliant insight in to the whole of this) (sorry it's just too involved), all 3 don't come out unscaithed. Jeffrey Shaw
Ground not fit to host event? Irrespective, my point was about the SW fans (rather than SW itself).
Mecky
Er, Hillsborough (SW) fans were not involved- so why should SW itself face repercussions? Where did I say it's SWFC's fault?
Mr Bloom
Irrespective, my point was about the SW fans (rather than SW itself). This is what you asked: Er, Hillsborough (SW) fans were not involved- so why should SW itself face repercussions? And I responded to your question. Did you mean to put 'fans' after SW? Jeffrey Shaw
Where did I say it's SWFC's fault? I doubt that you did.
Guest makapaka
David Duckenfield today acknowledged he wasn't experienced enough to manage the game that day. Let's hope the enquiry can give families some closure on the events that day - even though it will never truly compensate.

Eater Sundae
The responsibility for him being out of his depth lies with those who gave him the job when he was not up to it, and failed to train him up so that he would have been able to do it. Guest sibon
The responsibility for him being out of his depth lies with those who gave him the job when he was not up to it, and failed to train him up so that he would have been able to do it. But the responsibility for what happened at the stadium on the day lies squarely with him. That was his job.
