Solihull Boy
Can you get into the vehicle without the alarm going off? If not the alarm/ immobiliser can be disarmed using the key in the drivers door lock, and turning it the correct number of times left and right in sequence, but you need to know the sequence. I trust you have changed the fob battery or tried the spare fob? If the alarm is already disarmed or not working at all, the immobiliser should trip out when you turn the key in the ignition
Allen
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ As above....contact a Land Rover Dealer for the code for your vehicle. You will need proof of ownership.

monkey104
I have a series 1 discovery and had the same problems. Stay away from a main dealer! I went to a land rover dealer and for what they wanted I could have bought another land I could unlock and start the car with the key but not immobilise or use remote. I realised it was an after Market fob so bought batteries and it worked fine. Unfortunately I broke this but found a company on the internet who do replacement fobs. All they required was the serial number from the ecu. Delivery is next day. I will have a look for the website and post it for you.
