SAM HARLAND

After surviving two rehabs, various detention centres and a childhood on the streets of Hull, Sam draws on his wealth of experience to bring you a humorously cynical (yet optimistic) slant on life.

Sharp witted and charismatic, Sam has been performing stand-up since 2006 – a real audience pleaser.

“Sam is an exciting talent with a big personality – an east coast equivalent of Peter Kay”

- Agraman, Buzz Comedy 2008

“Sam delivers his material like a pro” – “his timing and emphasis is note perfect” - Chortle 2008

SEYMOUR MACE

Seymour was City Life Comedian of the Year in 2003 and Best Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards in 2004.

Seymour has featured in all four series of “Ideal” on BBC Three. Seymour is now unable to walk down the street without being recognised by the nation’s stoners.

After leaving school at 18, Seymour went to work on the stage crew at Butlins in Skegness. After that he worked on and off throughout his twenties for the Natural Theatre Company, widely regarded as one of the best street theatre companies in the world. He was also lucky enough to achieve his childhood dream of being a clown, working around Japan for a year in the nineties. He fell into stand-up in his early thirties and has been avoiding any real work since. Seymour took his first full show to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005 and after a break in 2004 returned for his six straight year in 2012 with his new show Squeg!.

Seymour is earmarked for great things as both a writer and performer.

“Always fun to watch, wilfully odd, yet compelling” Scotsman

“A stand-up with a decidedly idiosyncratic edge” The List

“More variety than a whole week of CBBC.” Chortle

CHRISTIAN REILLY

At the age of 15, Christian Reilly joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas…

As former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall, Christian's career has taken him around the world three times. On his way, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Britain.

Now a solo stand-up performer and playing all the major comedy venues in his own right, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians. He recently wrote and performed for 'That Was Then This Is Now' (BBC Radio 2) as musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma Kennedy, as well as giving his improvisation skills an outing on Radio 2's 'Jammin'.

Christian's comic songs, improvisations, sharp wit and youthful energy have delighted audiences wherever he performs.

"His stand-up is witty and heaving with punchlines…will win over all but the hardest hearts and minds." Chortle

"This genuine, trendy, confident comedian has a natural talent for risky jokes, song and quips which you can't help laughing at! If you get the chance to see Reilly live, do so. He is not to be missed!" Funny.co.uk
