Some say people deserve a second chance ! Maybe Mr Clegg could be given another chance.

I agree he did something wrong, but hey nobody is perfect and mankind is prone to making mistakes.

I see many people jump on the band wagon over Mr Clegg, but to be honest what he's done is so trivial compared to the 14 year old boy being raped in the department store in Manchester.

As a Sheffield person again am more disgusted over the whole Hillsborough cover up, rather than Mr Clegg's wrong doings.

A classic that one, many of the votes he got came from students and people employed in th education sector. He could have held the Cons to hold a free vote on student fees but he didn't he just capitulated. ConDems voted to increase tuition fees by x3.

Totally out of his depth, complete joker, Cable is no better. Party of opportunists.

well said. is it also fair to say he didnt look convincing before he made his u-turn? ive always held a bit of respect for the libdems until this, which is probably making paddy ashdown choke on his guinness. single-handedly, nick clegg has put the libdems back down to the point at which the sdp were at thirty years ago. the man is a jackal in a suit.

If Clegg doesn't get his way on this latest thing of his, which is getting the wealthiest to pay more, etc, then perhaps he will finally say enough is enough and end this coalition, because he's got to ask himself what he's getting out of being in it apart from greif.

Yes the rich paying more tax, that won't go down too well.

Nick Clegg may not be too popular of late, but sometimes bad publicity can pay off and be better then none at all!

He may be sorry but not half as sorry as the rest of his party that were on the brink of becoming a realistic third option instead of the longstanding two party system ….. They are now a laughingstock …. Wiped of the political map for years to come … the Tories are even cosying up to UKIP :hihi:

Was it really worth it Nick.

Sounds like he put the country before the party, which is something that can’t be said about the last lot in power. :)

No, he put HIMSELF before the country and the party. He just couldnt wait to prostitute himself to get that faint whiff of power. Were the party consulted before he unconditionally jumped into bed with the tories?
