Adelai
Since the Kashmir closed not found anything we like as much, esp missing Paul's amazing naan bread. Any suggestions as wanting to take friend for Indian meal tonight! Help please!!
PeteM01
Do you really want Indian? If so, then East and West or Dhanisthas on Abbeydale Road will give you the real thing. Not far from where the Kashmir used to be, I like Chaman. It is a simple grill but the food is all cooked freshly, the naans are great and it is very cheap. If you ask for the food asian-style, the curries will be hotter and usually drier (much better!). Sadly, there is none of the happy banter or social commentary that Paul used to excel in! PeteM01
Kashmiri Aroma seems good from what I have read on SF, probably much more of a formal dining experience than Chaman. For the best food, I would go to Dhanisthas but it is South Indian rather than Pakistani, so quite different food.
