I1L2T3
The worst thing is that he said it the day after those two poor WPCs were killed in Manchester. It's disgusting really. He's the perfect advert for all that is wrong with the Tory leadership, a daily reminder to the country about what they really think. So no, don't sack but keep him there to remind us what we're really dealing with.
Ms Macbeth
What did he say? Link please. Here's the BBC report. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-19675297 He sounds like a really arrogant person, however, I'd have thought that bikes would normally go through gates used by vehicles rather than pedestrians. The incident occurred on Wednesday after Mr Mitchell, MP for Sutton Coldfield, was told by officers to get off his bicycle as he left Downing Street and use the smaller pedestrian gate instead of the main entrance used by cars. AWOL
The apology was an admission of guilt. What a foolish move! In reality all tories think as he does. That is how tories think.

Wow. Imagine what sort of idiot thinks he can ride a bike on the road. The police were right to tell him to use the pavements. Who would ever question the police directing you after the Hillsborough report?
Guest
From The Telegraph: A source told the newspaper Mr Mitchell said: “Open this gate, I’m the Chief Whip. I’m telling you - I’m the Chief Whip and I’m coming through these gates.” The officers declined to do as instructed, and warned him he would be arrested under the Public Order Act if he persisted. He then began pushing his bike, before telling a PC: “Best you learn your f------ place. You don’t run this f------- government. “You’re f------- plebs.” What a B'stard.
