In a legal sense I know what it means. In the sense I meant it, he sounds guilty to me. Everything I have seen seems to vindicate the politician. Sorry you've had to resort to pedantry to make the pint

I'm thinking Mitchell might have booked an expensive holiday in anticipation of the damages, and there are a few coppers who won't be booking holidays as they will be holidaying with Dennis McShane and Paul Flowers.

Plus the court costs.

 

Mind you I don't think it will end there. I think there will follow an investigation into why the chief constables made such a play of claiming there was no case to answer. The rot goes to the top.
