That's right, it's why tories who live in other towns post on Sheffield Forum. Actually, I know a fair few that do. Not all tories are like this, I reckon 5% of them aren't.

I've lived in this part of Yorkshire for over 20 years and I honestly haven't met many Tories. I worked with a few and we had our discussions and disagreements through the years, always friendly and never nasty like on here. Round where I live it seems to be very LibDem, then Labour. I've never met a Tory on the doorstep and I can't remember the last time the Tories posted anything through the letterbox.

 

There aren't many around which I guess is why they work this forum so hard to compensate.

If you used mecky as stereotypical of lefties it would suggest they are all a bit thick.

There are many Tories around the fringes of Sheffield. If you can afford not to you don't live in the cesspits. But get out around Dore, Totley, Bradway, Holmesfield and all the surrounding villages you will hardly find a Labour supporter other than the ones shoveling out the stables.

The reason why houses in Holmesfield start at £300K is they are in Holmesfield and you aren't.
