ronthenekred
Why ? Because he represents the people. How can you represent or be represented fairly if you consider them "Plebs". (I'm guessing he used the term in a derogatory manor rather than favourable) If Cameron said ! "He has apologised to the plebs" he'd be ex PM. ronthenekred
How do you think the story broke? Think about it, the first we knew was Mitchell's statement. Reactive. So how did the story get out unless the cops told someone? This is Murdoch pulling the strings. As i thought, unsubstantiated waffle.
karlo998
How do you think the story arrived at The Sun?
karlo998
The Sun newspaper said it stood by its story "in full", including the use of the term "plebs". The Downing Street spokesperson said: "The prime minister is aware there was an incident. He is glad that Andrew Mitchell has apologised. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-19671093 The Sun know exactly what was said. Reckon Mitchell told them? ronthenekred
How do you think the story arrived at The Sun? Irrelevant. You claimed they went to the Sun, I've claimed nothing other than you haven't provided evidence.
karlo998
You reckon Mitchell ran to The Sun with the story? Don't be so naive, this is probably another brown envelope job at Wapping's McDonalds, where The Sun regularly pay coppers. That's how George Michael's Hampstead crash got in the papers, breathless coppers call up the newdesk and say "You'll never guess who we've nicked tonight!" Is it in Murdoch's interests to continue to flex his muscles and show nobody can stand up to him? Try thinking behind the headlines, this is power play. God knows what Rupe's got on Boris, they must be some seriously scary skeletons.
Mister M
I hope that the senior police officers calling for Mitchell to resign are as dilligent in pursuing the resignations of police officers under their charge who are found to be rude to members of the public. Mind you it seems some Tories have form in attacking public sector workers serving them, Lord Mancroft launched a stinging attack on "grubby, dunken, and promiscuous nurses" who treated him in hospital http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1580293/Tory-peer-attacks-grubby-promiscuous-nurses.html#disqus_thread

You could actually be right, that isn't an indication that you are, it's just that what you perceive as evidence I know as gobbledygook.
