billiej Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Can anyone help, please? My husband spent his last one or two years at Hunter's Bar school, around 1950-1951, or thereabouts. He remembers the headteacher, Mr Bingham,but wonders if anybody remembers a teacher called 'Taffy' Williams? He had been in the forces during the war, and had then come to teaching, or maybe returned to it. My husband recalls trips to the Teachers' Training College, off Ecclesall Road, to the gym there, where he was introduced to boxing.
