stpetre
Hi Glen. In the early 60's I knew a lad from Earldom St. called Edmund Selby who had a brother Jimmy.Did you know them ? I think the Selby's lived on Earsham Street near to Harleston St. ---------- Post added 23-02-2015 at 03:00 ---------- The dance hall ...then the Mojo ....then the bingo hall ... WAS on Pitsmoor Road ...... which ends at Orphange Road next to Firs Hill School . Hop over the wall and THAT'S Barnsley Road Yes that's right, the Mojo was 555 Pitsmoor Road and previously it was a dance hall Dey's/ Tower Ballroom. leedsveg
The breadshop on Andover Street opposite the White House chippy was Ineson's. If I remember rightly, Ineson's daughter moved to Australia.
