My girlfriend is going to become a nurse

Recommended Posts

This excites me no end. I look forward to the following:

Sexual Benefits

  • Uniform.

  • Those latex surgical gloves that snap over the wrists.

  • Access to many curious implements that can be (professionally) inserted in various places.

  • A willingness to handle/extract bodily fluids and solids.

General Benefits

  • Someone who can give medical attention while waiting for an ambulance

  • Good earnings potential

However, it would also excite me if she were to work at KFC:

General/Sexual Benefits

  • Free chicken.

On the down side - unsocial hours, working back to back 12 hour shifts, night shifts, Christmas and New Year.

Don't rely on any sympathy when you're ill either - my OH says I am the least sympathetic person he knows !

The knowledge of where her hands/ fingers have been during an average working day can be a bit of a turn off as well !

Seriously though - I wish her well in her chosen career. It's a tough training but there are some rewards along the way.

It's good to know there are still those willing to 'take over the baton' when I eventually fall off my perch. :)

Well that was a rather hard crash down to earth.

Wish she'd gone for that KFC job now.

Contrary to what you believe, nurses are terrible with the sympathy thing at home. So, if you are sick, chances are you will be told to pull yourself together. As for the uniform... have you seen it? It's hardly stockings and suspenders :(

And as for anything else, she'll be too tired from working all hours of the day :D
