Alcoblog
Eh? ... why's this thread suddenly ended up in Sheffield Property and housing? It's got nothing to do with it.
Bollie
Eh? ... why's this thread suddenly ended up in Sheffield Property and housing? It's got nothing to do with it. I thought that. How do I move it back?
Alcoblog
I thought that. How do I move it back? You'll have to ask the mods, I'm afraid. Can't imagine anyone reading this thread in here, unless they'd already commented. (I was watching it with interest)

Bollie
Most council owned communal car parks are considered part of the highway,& any vehicle parked on them should be taxed, insured, etc. I do know of someone who had his van (with expired tax) clamped by DVLA for parking in one such car park ! Really? Would you report it to the DVLA or Sheffield Council?
rtbcomp
Report them to everyone you can think of, by the law of averages somebody should do something about it. Police, HMRC, DVLA, Council, DHSS, Trading Standards, Watchdog, Oprah Winfrey, Environment Agency (Dirty water going down the drains)

willman
Does the op have any rights to complain about the parking, they are no longer a council tennant and therefore the resident issue can be debated. I assume when you bought the house you also bought a parking space from the council. Not having a dig just asking.
max
Really? Would you report it to the DVLA or Sheffield Council? As a start, report it using the link I supplied in post 4. SCC will let you know if it's incorrect. If you do not want to report it, put all the details of the vehicle and location on here and let someone else do it.
