MrSmith
I'm not "getting at" anything, I'm asking you questions. Never mind. I'm bored already. Which I answered.
Michael_W
I really can't see any circumstance in which a 14 year old can alone take responsibility for their own decisions and the consequences of their actions. A 14 year old girl who gets pregnant risks her education and places an emotional and financial burden on her parents and society at large. The same might be said about a 16 or 18 year old but at least there is more of a chance they might provide for a child as an independent adult. If a 14 year old boy gets a girl pregnant he can not provide for that baby. A 14 year old will make the decision to go through with or terminate the pregnancy, so they do have some responsibilty, others can only advise. Neither a 14 year old boy or girl can provide for a baby, the grandparents and the state usually pick up the tab initially !

Unless the father is a working adult in which case he could provide for it, that’s if he isn’t locked up.
skinz
For those concerned that children aged 14 are being locked away or should be locked away to protect us and them as a means to contol our children, try typing into google "14 yr old child locked up for underage sex between peer" All that seems to pop up is pervert adults abusing children. Maybe there's a conspiracy. Or maybe the system in conjunction with parenting on the whole work, not perfectly but who or what does perfect these days. MrSmith
The majority of child sex crime is committed by a family member and about a third is committed by children that have been abused by a family member, the abused becomes the abuser. skinz
You can't go lower than 16 otherwise it just starts to get murky Is that because of conditioning maybe? What if it was 17 and asked to be lowered, could that not be construed as "murky" also?
