His first shop was on Wharncliffe st in Rotherham in the late 60's early 70's. I may have been his first employee as I tidied up his yard as a nine year old lad. The shop was just up from where the outside market was built. may be, i had an ex once who's father started out with Derek cook, he ended up running the car spares shop for him in Wath, as he didnt want to take the risk of going into business with him on the car sales front.
