In the good old days you had your own street/community bonfire, all the mums cooked different foods and brought it out or you just called to which house was doing jacket spuds, parkin, hot dogs, etc brilliant days, had years of this and no one every got hurt or burned by fireworks, then the parks did good nights with amazin displays for a few years then that all stopped. paying to get into a bonfire is all wrong but communities aint the same anymore!! Shame that.

Do you know anything more about this as it doesn't seem to be on their website and I emailed them but didn't get a response.

Hi Warrior, sorry I must have missed your email some how :-( sorry.

We put a poster up in the ice cream parlour to make sure our regular customers got tickets for the bonfire first, in 4 days it was totally sold out so no need for us to promote it any further ie our website etc. Every penny of the ticket money goes to charity this year its split 50/50 between Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity & Help a Child Have a Chance.

We won't get to a do this year, our baby is due to arrive by section on 5 nov so we intend to have a huge bonfire/human Christmas party at the dog club at the start of December. Pie and pea supper or jacket potatoes for all and hub will set some fireworks off too (will add we have a huge building that baby will be staying in during the fireworks!!!!!!)
