gnvqsos
I think you miss my point, but have a nice day anyhow. Annoying when your attempts at point-scoring are misconstrued-hope you have a nice afternoon.I am off to bed.

No but it seems pointless when addressed to humourless loons. Why are you going to bed mid afternoon? (Anyone I know?)

gnvqsos
A compromise would be for AS to accept a flat in the Kings Cross/Bloomsbury area where rents are lower, but with good access to St Pancras for rail travel to Wombwell.

geared
What does he need a flat in London for if he lives in Barnsley anyway? Typical hypocrite union person. "Everyone should have a fair deal. But mine is fairer than yours"
T 42
What does he need a flat in London for if he lives in Barnsley anyway? Typical hypocrite union person. "Everyone should have a fair deal. But mine is fairer than yours" I wondered that myself. Its a bit excessive for a union with only 1500 members to provide a £35K a year flat for someone who is no longer a member of the union. geared
or even a permanent resident there, in fact what business does a retired ex-union head have in London?? It sounds like he just wants them to fund his 'place in the city' so he can make the odd trip there when he pleases.
mumkin
It's a crying shame that a bloke who lead thousands of miners to ruin and desperation under the guise of "getting one over Maggie" should continue to kick them in the nads
