jen_f16
I'm hoping to go out for a meal tomorrow with some friends - will be 4 of us in total. They are visiting Sheffield of the first time so want to stay away from any chain restaurants. I have been to BB's before and it's booked up for tomorrow evening Has anyone been to either La Gondola, just off Division Street, or Piccolos, Convent Walk/West Street? Any reviews on these or suggestions for similar priced places would be appreciated. I can't seem to find a website for La Gondola, does anyone know if they have one? Bilge
Neither are anything special but there aren't that many Italian places in the city centre. If BB's is booked up I'd probably get a cab to Casanova's in Crookes, Vito's Walkley or La Terrazza, Sharrowvale. Unless you really need to be in the city centre, in which case the two you mention would be adequate I suppose.
sophiie
Actually I find Piccolos to be really nice, went recently and had some really nice food! Antibo's in Leopold Square is also top notch!
