Joanl
I'm a bit over your upper limit on this but No, I don't have an afternoon nap or even feel that I need one. Up at 7.30.....bed at 11, and that's fine.

jane2008
I used to nap every afternoon when younger. I'm now 48, get up at 7.30 every morning and never have a nap. If you want to know what the reason ( I think) for this is PM me

badgemush
I'm in that age group, but i have no afternoon nap. i go to bed around 10.30 pm and most days i'm wide awake by 4 am. I just put it down to being menopausal. Fit and healthy in every way
medusa
I'm under the age group but have serious health problems and have needed to take naps since going on sedative painkillers. Sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes just after I've got up and sometimes for most of the day. Sometimes I get enough notice to go up to bed for a sleep, but sometimes I sleep wherever I am at the time, whether that's the car, my recliner or at other people's houses. Ah, the joys of painkillers

Rupert_Baehr
I'm hardly a lady. I always enjoved a quick 'nap' () in the afternoon ... we called it a 'grubscrew'. Ah, the joys of painkillers I appreciate your point, Medusa. I can add in a 'defective main pump'. (tends to 'switch me off' quite effectively. ) I suppose you have to 'live with what you've got.' I've got a lot of friends who now live in boxes 6ft under the ground. I'm waaaay better off than they are. [Fortunately for me, my pain levels are far lower than are yours and I reckon I've got an easy life.]
