Speeding fine Renishaw

Recommended Posts

The one I usually see out there looks like a camper van at a distance - even has a spare wheel on the back door. I have thought in the past that you wouldn't realise until it was too late that it was a mobile speed van, usually parked at the bottom of the drag downhill from the M1.

that one is the dvla tax van mate

Its not just speed, but road noise too. Road noise increases with speed and will no doubt affect those living on the road.

Sadly it seems people just see a straight road and make up their own limits without considering anyone else or other factors.

You do talk some codswallop!

If someone is going faster then the noise will be for a shorter time for one,for another nobody from within their property could tell the difference between a vehicle doing 30 or 40 mph but im sure from your window sill YOU could!

If a vehicle is travelling at 30 mph its likely they would have to use a lower gear than travelling at a slightly higher speed which in turn REDUCES not only the Noise but emmisions aswell.

Maybe you should Google it, the information is out there, rather than shooting the messenger.

Same applies to vibration from passing traffic. Vibration increases with speed. Not good if you live in those houses in Renishaw and lorries are passing by.

But no doubt this is something else you haven't bothered to consider in your general ignorance.
