libuse Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 It's an average place; the beer is good and I like the atmosphere, but the service isn't that good and the food is nothing to write home about. I'm veggie, so I expect crappy food in pubs and Henrys has lived up to my expectation. However, I ate in there with a carnivore a while ago who complained to the wait staff about the fact that her food was pretty hopeless. She was told that it was because kitchen staff were off sick and offered a free drink, which doesn't really cut it. She didn't take the free drink and probably won't go in again. Just admit where you are from it is much easier. Quarterpenny asked for opinions, most of which were negative. They then visit just 2 days later and tadahhhh it is really good! Even though it would appear they are the only ones to be aware of the new menu. Meanwhile Russah seems to be very well informed, Best Bar None, Stella Bar man of the year, eaten half the menu. Not only that it is i quote "the best pub in Sheffield". A grand statement indeed....To be entered for 'Stella Barman of the year' I would assume your workplace must sell Stella? They did an amazing mushroom and goats cheese.burger, which was a great veggie choice. Despite asking for this, the chef was unable to do so, so will not be eating there again.
