happy days oakhouse ugly sisters, with a picture of tommy steele on the wall flos cafe georges bonbon shop and candyfloss with half a dozen sticks stuck in it and dont forget ms fyldeman at handsworth parish centre and also the riviera club if i have struck a chord of memory enjoy it

Ey up owd pal, dont forget all the shops at the bottom, Bridons Butchers,Double fronted Co Op, Fruit shop, Mrs Wressels, Arnots grocery shop,Wentworths and Gowers and Burgons then accross the road was Rileys Paper shop.

Anyone from Brook School R stream from 1959 to 1962

1st. year 1r Mrs. Sedgwick.

2nd year Mr.Schofield.

3rd. year Mr.Cox.

4th. year Mr.Stokes.

 

mr cox was the P.E. teacher, under him we had the best football school team in sheffield, all the time i played for the school we never lost a match, how could we with TERRY WOOD'S, BRIAN SHIRCLIFFE, both school boy's internationals !! what a team "BROOK SCHOOL"
