Last time I broke the costs down it was something like this, per gallon - Fuel 60p Duty + Vat 85p So at 60p a gallon fuel is quite reasonable - duty and Vat is the killer. Angel. 60p might sound reasonable to you but BP making a profit of $5.4 BILLION a year (2011) doesnt sound reasonable to me when it affects everything.Thats not turnover that is PROFIT!!
