spart
Hi i have a book called the hunting of the snark: An agony in eight fits by lewis carroll; illustrated with innumerable lines by ralph steadman. It was published by michael dempsey, london, 1975. The isbn number is 904518086. Would anyone be able to shed any light as to whether or not this book is worth anything or is it something i should keep hold of? Many thanks in advance

Jessica23
It's probably not really worth anything in terms of money. But I bet it's a lovely book.
Chris_Sleeps
It needs to be an early edition or a famous misprint for a book to be worth any real money.
hillsbro
Hi spart - your edition of the book (written by the 'Alice in Wonderland' author Lews Carroll) isn't very valuable but it is perhaps worth a little more than most similar editions. If it is signed by the artist who illustrated it, this would add to the value. A search of the Amazon website using the ISBN brought up this result - seven copies starting at £18. The ABE Books website gave a similar result see here. .
metalman
Is it worth anything? Not a great deal, unless it's signed by Ralph Steadman. NB If it's signed by Lewis Carroll it definitely isn't worth anything. Should you keep it? Absolutely.
