A record number of people are at work in the UK as unemployment falls again

Neither China nor the US uses Euros, so I don't see how the exchange rate between the Pound and the Euro would affect them.

China uses Euros, Dollars and Pounds. They want foreign currency. If you buy from China they will insist on payment in one of those 3 currencies.

But when you sell goods to China, they pay you (you don't have to give them pounds, dollars or anything else.) :hihi:

I've no idea how many cars British manufacturers sell to China, but the reason sales to the US are so strong is that Americans want to buy them.

The phrase 'the Pound is so strong against the Euro it will harm our exports' is a mantra which is repeated all too often. - And at the same time, somebody else will be saying "The Euro is so strong against the pound I can't afford to go on holiday to Europe."

If people want to buy your products, they will do so.
