A record number of people are at work in the UK as unemployment falls again

Recommended Posts

I have worked for Tesco, as a contractor. Prompt payers, quite demanding, I wouldnt hesitate to work for them again.

I am glad you feel that praising working people is worthwhile. Also that you agree that prosperous businesses are a good thing.

Yes, they're a brilliant thing, if you reap all the rewards and bung it in to an offshore account because you've already got more than you can ever possibly spend or know what to do with, whilst you pay your workers an insulting wage - can't see that doing much for our economy though, only draining it.

Do you work? If so does someone employ you or are you self employed?

I thought Tesco used direct labour for cleaning.

No they use MITIE for cleaning.

Your response again shows what you really are, a job snob.

I had thought that we had matured in this country to the extent that we valued a man or women on the content of their personality, their contribution to society via their work and effort and the way they look after their families and community.

In you we see the rump of a belief system that values titles above acheivement, antecendents rather than actualities and spelling rather than content.

Although I find you and your attitudes irritating I should actually feel sorry for you, you are a condescending patronising snob of the first order.

By the way, referring to other posts on other threads, you dont know the difference between grammer and grammar and there is no actor called Eddie Henry who appeared in King Leer, there is an actor called Lenny Henry who appeared in King Lear.

King Leer is an old swedish porno with whom you are no doubt aquainted.

The sad thing is there are too many in this country who don't want work. That's why we have record numbers of people in work. Hundreds of thousands of jobs have to be advertised abroad because folk here have backs that won't get off the bed, or are too busy doing cash in hand jobs.

It is funny how you so many errors at face value, and respond so quickly. You also seem to post under various guises. However I shall refrain from being rude as you are no doubt aware of your shortcomings. From what you write you perhaps share many of my characteristics.By the way you dont need to write patronising and condescending as the terms are interchangeable.

I'm in the UK this week and as the thread is about the UK that's the country I refer to. However GDP for France is forecast to drop by around 2% whilst in the UK it is forecast for 1.2% growth.
