MPs renting out their taxpayer funded homes to each other.

Recommended Posts

Whoever is responsible for editing what goes into the BBC1 6 o'clock news should perhaps explain why they saw fit to omit this story this evening.

"Twenty seven MP's are claiming taxpayer funded expenses to rent homes in London while simultaneously letting property in the capital."

As if that fact itself is not bad enough it is not against the rules.

Excuse me while I just go check to see how wet my back is.

Yes, I know. I'm asking why would or should it be?

Do you not mind then when an MP who has a property in London lets it out to another MP and then rents another one all at your expense? I say that in the assumption that you are a taxpayer of course.

It did feature quite heavily on BBC's Radio 4 news at the same time if that makes you happier.

I know, I listened to it thanks. I tuned in to the BBC TV news to see how they would present the story. :suspect:

Just to set the record straight, I'm not unhappy...far from it.
