Rupert_Baehr
the price of a coffee is based not just on the product itself, although usually the quality is better in a specialist coffee shop and i dont mean starmuck and costa! the price reflects the surroundings ie. shop fit out, ancilleries, cups, napkins, staff, milk, machinery normal business overheads etc etc it all soon adds up and hence the price. Indeed. - You're on Treasure Island and that purchase probably has to support 5 or 6 people. What would you expect to pay? (I'd pay about $1.75 and get free refills.) LeMaquis
Good to know that it's been doubled. Where to get coffee for £1.25 please? The Cavendish on West Street was doing coffee for 99p not long ago.
Harleyman
I pay one two dollars and twenty-five cents for a large cup of regular at my favourite place. I only go there because the baristas are all young women from a nearby college and an old man must indulge in his fantasies. If I eat in any restaurant I get as many free refills as I want
AWOL
I pay one two dollars and twenty-five cents for a large cup of regular at my favourite place. I only go there because the baristas are all young women from a nearby college and an old man must indulge in his fantasies. If I eat in any restaurant I get as many free refills as I want Packet of cheese and onion crisps and twelve large coffees....sorted! I must admit that when I go for a drink alone or with a friend I like to choose somewhere where the serving wenches are attractive. Actually after several beers they all seem to develop a charm. Rupert_Baehr
The problem is, although most places will do free refills of coffee, few (if any) seem to want to give free refills of beer.
AWOL
Or indeed free refills of your petrol tank!
