AWOL
Wealth that has been passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years should belong to the state. It should not belong to the greedy kids of the establishment. We should forcibly take the assets of the landed gentry and use their money for the welfare of proper people. Conrod
Nah, cannot agree with that, my old fellah worked all his life and left me his house. Why should the Government of any colour have the right to confiscate my wealth. Angel. It should not, of course. Sadly though, people who haven't worked hard, or haven't 'worked smart', and haven't put their hard-earned money into property are deeply envious of those who have either did work hard or used their brains. Remember socialist views are just the politics of envy.
SevenRivers
Cuts are needed. All the main parties know we need them but it's about making the right cuts in a joined-up way. The Tories have gone at the job with a blunt hatchet just hacking away at anything they can. It's mindless. Such as....? What cuts have been made that you would reverse. Ed Miliband has already said he won't reverse the cuts. What "joined-up cuts" as opposed to the "not joined-up cuts" will the opposition make? Remember socialist views are just the politics of envy. Many people with money have not worked hard. Some have not worked at all, but have merely inherited vast wealth. It is this wealth that should be forcibly taken and given to the people. They have not earned it so it is not theirs. I have several properties myself that I HAVE earned and thus should be allowed to keep.

I1L2T3
Such as....? What cuts have been made that you would reverse. Ed Miliband has already said he won't reverse the cuts. What "joined-up cuts" as opposed to the "not joined-up cuts" will the opposition make? I wouldn't have just cut health, policing, family support services, certain benefits for a start. Cuts in one area can put pressure on others if not thought through. Cuts can become self-defeating, leading to increased costs and revenue losses elsewhere. Who knows what Labour would do. It'd be just as much of a mess no doubt.
Anna B
What has happened to the Occupy people ? Are they still hoping to change things ? In my opinion, a lot of what's going on is because Occupy raised awareness of the issues in the first place.
