sheff_minx
I've cheated slightly.... I bought the audio book as I'm finding it easier to just sit and be read to than actively turn the pages!! Who needs eastenders when you've got the sleepy village of Middlemarch eh?!

NekoZombie
Hello all - it seems that no-one's organising anything? Anyway, I'm 27, and would really love to join a reading group, but obviously, I'm too old for this one. Anyways, I think we should just get one organised - maybe in a pub, although I don't mind people meeting at my house in order to get the ball rolling, and I bake some great cakes as well (being a pastry chef). The proposal is to meet in a fortnight; we just need to decide on an initial book. Maybe we could just have an informal meeting, discuss what we'd like to read, drink tea (or maybe something stronger) and eat cake. Seems like a starting point anyway. Anyone who is interested, contact me, or post a message.
