Happy Trafalgar Day

Recommended Posts

Any discussion I've entered into are only meant to clear up some lack of understanding as they relate to historical events. I'm no Harvard Professor of history and I've even been known to be wrong on one or two occasions but you seem to have blown a fuse when I posted remarks based on facts surrounding the events that led to the war of 1812 between Britain and America but maybe I shouldnt let facts get in the way a good discussion :D

Just reading a new book by Peter Snow you may be interested in Harleyman, "When Britain Burned the White House, the 1814 invasion of Washington"

Opening today "Nelson, Navy, Nation can be seen at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London."
