Traditional Shukokai karate classes 7:00pm - 8:30pm every monday in the sports centre studio. Ages 8 upwards welcome, all fitness levels! Classes concentrate on Kihon (basics) Kata (forms) and Kumite (fighting). Beginners should wear comfortable loose fitting clothes when they first come along. There are no monthly membership fees and training is on a £4 pay as you train basis. The club is part of the Heian Ryu Karate Group and affiliated with the WUKF governing body.
