EDL Leader Remanded for Using False Passport To Enter The USA

Recommended Posts

Ms Tapui was charged today after answering police bail. She is due to appear at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on 7 December.

Not even remanded. Interesting.

No details are given about Tapui's background (previous convictions, likelihood to abscond, etc).

Robinson has numerous convictions including assault of a police officer and football hooliganism and has spent time inside. As well as alleged passport fraud he's also under investigation for the circumstances leading to the arrest of 53 EDL members, of which he was one, last Saturday on their way to attack a mosque in east London, and an alleged assault in Luton. The bloke goes looking for trouble and brags about it.

There's a little here from the Telegraph - sounds like she's just a a decent person trying to provide for her family -

''The oldest of six girls and two boys who grew up on the remote Tongan island of Vava'u, she left the South Pacific to seek work in the UK to "try to help the family".

Born Loloahi Otolose Tapui, she was educated at a free government-run school until she was 17.

When she left school she spent several years helping her mother with cooking, cleaning and looking after her younger siblings while her father worked as a subsistence farmer in fields outside the town of Leimatu'a.

But as the oldest child, her role was to provide for the other children, and in 2003 she left Tonga, and a life of poverty, to visit a maternal aunt, who was living in London.

She has not been back in Tonga since''

In other words she isn't a born headcase like Robinson. If you look at the youtube video someone pro-EDL posted a link to earlier, at 2.56 Carroll says to the copper "We'll do what you want us to do" and Robinson immediately jumps in and says "No we won't". That's on the EDL's own video. It's hardly strange the state has got it in for him.

Did you also notice that same copper saying that they are not arresting the people throwing missiles due to the safety of the police. But they dont feel the same threat from the EDL that are mobbed up behind them. Who are the thugs here?

There is a General Right to Bail - and there are exceptions to that right which are explained in this link.

Tapui has been charged and granted bail.

Robinson has been charged and remanded in custody.

I'm sure that the magistrates will have considered each case on its own merits and I've no doubt that Robinson - or his legal representative - would have challenged the decision to remand him had they felt they had grounds to do so.

No need to go further than Robinson on this one;

2005 - served 12 months for assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault on a police officer,

2011 - convicted of having used "threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour" due to football-related violence in 2010,

2011 - convicted of common assault after headbutting a fellow EDL member at a rally in Blackburn.

The Met had it in for the EDL because the original EDL demo in Walthamstow was scheduled between the Olympics and Paralympics. It was then put back by the EDL to take place during the Paralympics in the hope the police would be stretched. No such luck sadly as all the EDL members apart from a few leaders who left early got kettled and nicked.

The EDL tried the same thing last Saturday, setting off to attack a mosque in London hoping the police would be distracted by the TUC demo. As in Walthamstow the Met weren't going to fall for that one and 53 EDL were nicked and Tommy ended up in Wandsworth nick.

Earlier on I was called "pro EDL" well to be honest I like to see both sides. I dont like to see the EDL battered when the other sides are just as bad. Yes the EDL have a certain football hooligan element but also are represented by "normal folk". In May the EDL and The Casuals united held a big demo in Blackpool to high-lite the cover up once again by SS and the Police of the disappearance of a young girl called Charlene Downs. No one else were there for the family and the Family spoke publically to thank the Casuals and the EDL for there support and demos to bring the perpatrators to justice (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1374443/Police-hid-abuse-60-girls-Asian-takeaway-workers-linked-Charlene-Downes-murder.html).

The video I have posted here (

) is probably the one video that makes the most sense, and its not pro EDL, MDL or UAF but gives a balanced account by a couple moderate Muslims who also call their Muslim brothers actions into question.

People have nothing to fear from the EDL, they are not right wing, read their mission statement. Whilst ever the EDL are being hated on, groups such as The Infadels and CxF are just growing stronger as the EDL are kicking out "members" that are showing blatant racism these idiots are joining Far Right movements such as these.

The one thing about the pro-EDL side is that they just can't stop giving you an open goal.

Kevin Carroll, the EDL member in your youtube video link, is a PCC candidate for the British Freedom Party which was set up 2 years ago by ex-BNP members. Carroll's bid to be taken seriously as a law and order candidate has probably taken a knock by his being arrested last week. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-20033157 Carroll is otherwise only famous for closely resembling Foghorn Leghorn.

For other evidence of the EDL's and BFP's commitment to peace, love and understanding see http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/blog/insider
