Australian Immigration

Recommended Posts

So are UKIP right ,should England and Wales have the same immigration laws as Australia, should we be able to pick and choose who comes to live in our Country.

Or should we welcome all and sundry even though some do not want to follow the ,When in Rome do as the Romans do ,way of looking at life.

What about funnel web spiders that hide under dunny seats?

No one has died from a spider bite in Australia for more than 10 years.

This is due to anti-venom being widely available almost everywhere.

On a comparative study with UK it's got low wages ,high taxes, cheap

food products ,better benefits ,high unemploment .Does anyone has views to share about finding a job in IT field, adaptability .

Err who told you all that??

because it's nonsense.

They have higher (relatively) wages, but also a higher cost of living.

The economy is starting to hit the skids now though as it's heavily skewed towards selling to China, and China ain't buying no more.

The exchange rate is near enough £1 to $2, which makes it easier to figure out relative costs when looking around at things.

Read the opening chapters of "Kangaroo" by DH Lawrence. They describe very well the sort of Englishman (I don't think Somers considered himself "British") who didn't then, and wouldn't now, fit in in Australia.

We came out in 1967, and all our children say they are grateful to us.

They have visited Sheffield and London and Brid, but would rather live here.

Go for it! It's a great place.

True it is expensive and not as easy to emmigrate there as people think, but there are ways and means, especially if you use an emmigration company.

P'haps you could give it a try with a back packing holiday as a taster. If you're smitten with it, it will give you the stamina to jump through all the necessary hoops.

Bloody good job, you wouldn't fancy sucking the poison out of those bites..

Physically sucking poison out is 9 times ouy of 10 is completely stupid as you end up with two casualties instead of one and invariably the first is no better off.
