To round off such a year, Off the Rails are proud to announce an event so big that Christmas Day 2012 is likely to be known more as, (in conjunction with Insomniacz)...The night before; ‘Winter Wonderland – The White Party, Magna!’ OTR vs. Trancemitta take over ‘The Magical Ice Stadium’; THE showcase event at the Magna Science Museum, Rotherham…a 4500 capacity event providing the ultimate clubbing experience. With such a grand stage set, it would only see fitting to announce a line up equally as epic! With no less than 9 names booked to provide the festive soundtrack, OTR are immensely proud to announce to you the biggest name to have represented the brand and one of the biggest names to have graced clubland over the last decade…DJ, producer, pioneer, innovator…FERRY CORSTEN! With 4 producer albums to his name now; the latest album ‘WKND’ released February 2012, this iconic Dutch figure has featured in the DJ Mag Top 10 rankings for an unbroken 12 successive years now. Spearheading the familiar sound of System F ‘Out of the Blue’, (co-produced with Armin van Buuren) this led to a host of quick releases with the Dutch/euphoric sound we all know and love today including Gouryella ‘Gouryella’ and Verecocha ‘Carte Blanche’…such tracks contributing to him winning numerous awards including ‘Producer of the Year’. Since then, Ferry has done it all. From managing prestigious labels such as Tsunami and Flashover Recordings to hosting a long standing weekly radio show broadcast to over 50 countries. Behind the decks, ‘Full on Ferry’ was launched in 2007 seeing Corsten host special events where he would take to the stage with a select bunch of the world’s most accomplished DJs, wowing the crowds with unique back 2 back sets…a concept which took to the White Isle for the season in 2011, proving his status across the globe. Supporting Ferry for this epic, festive journey, OTR are proud to announce an eclectic festival-esque line up of DJs bound to make the most seasoned of clubbers foam at the mouth! Like Ferry, LANGE is a man who has been around for a while. With 2 artist albums under his belt and such tunes as ‘Drifting Away’ and ‘Out of the Sky’ to his name, Lange remains one of the most prolific EDM producers of the last decade. With his record label Lange Recordings going from strength to strength, expect a showcase of the most upfront tracks from present day delivered with pure energy behind the decks. GIUSEPPE OTTAVIANI is another historical debut booking for OTR. For many years now, classically trained pianist Ottaviani has been delivering unique sets using live midi controllers. As one part of the former euphoric giants Nu-NRG, he is the creator of some of the finest riffs, contributing to the true meaning of ‘trance’ including ‘Dreamland’ and ‘Through Your Eyes’. Following an explosive set at the OTR 5th Birthday celebrations in February, we welcome back MENNO DE JONG. A regular amongst events the globe over, the big man of trance is one of the most well-known faces on the scene and with anthems such as ‘Turtle Paradise’ to his name be sure of a set of a similar calibre delivered. …And still the names keep coming, from no less than 3 of the hottest producers on the circuit today! Another man making his OTR debut and fresh out of Amsterdam is RAFAEL FROST. Providing a unique sound of driving tech basslines packed together with melancholic melodies, this man has carved a distinct sound perfect for the Boxing Day crowds. Joining him is local man of the moment JORDAN SUCKLEY, who can do no wrong! Since landing the dream job of trance representative on BBC Radio 1, Suckley has entertained the world with his infectious demeanour from behind the decks whilst his productions continue to the damage. The fourth and final debutant for OTR at this special event is Irish man SNEIJDER. His full fire, euphoric productions have gained recent regular support from the biggest names in the business with remixes of Full Tilt’s ‘Surrender’ and John O’Callaghan’s ‘Smokescreen’ bringing back the 140 tempo to trance.
