Obelix
I missed the smiley off the end of my post. It was a reasonable question to ask - I'd imagine that finding any body from that far ago with certainty would be rather tricky. I'm impressed they manage to find the site at all. harestone
It seems that if the skeleton found under the car park in Leicester is proven to be Richard III, he will be re-interred in Leicester. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-20116118 Seeing as he was the last Yorkist monarch, and expressed a wish to be buried in York after he died, should his wish to be buried in his home county be honoured? Yes, though i'm no historian so have no clue if anyone would find this offensive, but if not then why shouldn't he rest for eternity at his place of choosing. ronthenekred
I got it anyway. lol. We shouldn't need smileys to point everyone in the direction of a joke. I think he should be buried in Westminster Abbey. No big monument or anything, just an inscribed slab in the floor or in the wall near those of other Plantagenet/Yorkist monarchs. Leicester only want the body so they can create a visitor attraction. With his sworn enemies?

Rupert_Baehr
I am not a fan of the Plantagent line, and their ancestors illegal theft of this country, and their illegal claims to our land. You do surprise me! Plant a spud - OK Plant some wacky tabacky - OK But Plant a Gent - and you've got a problem? Just because he wore a sprig of broom and not a rose ... what have you got against cleaning folk? I thought you supported the workers!

Rupert_Baehr
Well, they could always build a car park over the grave as a monument. It's just history upgraded. Instead of: "A horse, a horse - my kingdom for a horse!" You could have: "A parking slot, a parking slot - a King's ransom to bloody park!" After all, it is York.
