Minimo
This is fascinating news for me as one of my ancestors fought with Richard at Bosworth. My ancestor's lands were confiscated but restored later when he wormed his way into Henry Tudor's favour. I am disappointed that the law is that a body must be reburied as close as possible to the place it was found. I would have chosen York Minster. Richard himself wanted to be buried at York. Shouldn't his wish carry any weight?
Super Hans
They a statue of him in Leicester, next to a pretty decent church, so maybe there. Or his marriage church, or York Cathedral.
Agent Orange
a majestic funeral at York cathedral conducted by the Roman Catholic Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster - with a full Latin Requem Mass . ---------- Post added 04-02-2013 at 13:10 ---------- I was hoping they'd find a crate of spitfires I once found a crate of Spitfires in a supermarket car park. Here: http://www.ocado.com/catalog/images-hires/65374011_H.jpg?identifier=1786ecaa04cd18d45fa6519a0c4a5c4a As for Richard III, he should be brought back to Yorkshire. Leicester is no place for a Yorkshireman to be buried.

Jeffrey Shaw
Why the question, anyway? He was fairly comprehensively buried, until busybodies unearthed him. They canna let him lie...

Jeffrey Shaw
Anyway, he need not now offer his kingdom for a horse: only for an Irish-made supermarket burger. ---------- Post added 04-02-2013 at 16:52 ---------- Wrong Richard.
