SC-Rachael Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 Sheffield Cathedral has been awared £64,000 from the Skills Funding Agency as part of the new Community Learning Innovation Fund to deliver a series of creative art workshops over a 10 week period. Creative Edge is a new and exciting project that champions inclusion and community with Sheffield City Centre through the use of of the creative arts. It aims to bring people together to share learning experiences, make new friends and have some fun along the way. Working in partnership with; the Cathedral Archer Project, Learn for Life Enterprise, Stories from the Street and Greentop Circus. All courses are completely free to join, so whether you want to develop an existing skill or challenge yourself to something completely new, there is a creative course for you. At the end of the project there will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase your new learnt/developed skills as part of Tramlines 2013. Officially launch date is Wednesday 7 November at 18:30 at Sheffield Cathedral, in the Domino Hall (access via Campo Lane) Courses range from Film Making to Drumming to Circus Skills.
