New SL 3 buses at Killamarsh..

Recommended Posts

I thought I would try this bus this morning, I don't get on buses usually due to mobility problems, but these are advertised as being disabled friendly which they are, they're great buses, platforms that lower for easy access, disabled seating as soon as you get on, smashing buses..:(

My gripe this morning was that I had my 6 yr old grandson with me, and we were going 3 stops into the village. I asked the driver how much, told him how old he was, he asked where I was going then told me it would be £1 .20 as we were in NED and not Sheffield...

I thought this was a bit steep particularly as one stop after ours would have been 60p

I know there's no use saying anything to the driver, as its over "border" and he's just doing his job, surely the powers that be could work the child fares out a bit fairer though..
