November and it’s residual cold is upon us and Collect! has migrated temporarily from it’s roost on the second Saturday of the month.

 

For one month only there will be a seasonal Collect! double header with dates on the 24th November in the Snow Lane side of DLS and then December 8th in the original Smithfield side only a fortnight apart.

 

Full info on the 8th to be released soon but an ascending star of the house scene, a techno don and a disco house trio are involved.

On the 24th of November we have teamed up with our buddies at Toast Magazine to present a monumental line up of long standing techno heads with which to entice you.

 

You may well remember that Jamie Anderson came to Collect! in April of this year.

As part of celebrating the 15th year of his label Artform Records with a world tour he is returning with some legends of the techno bracket that have helped him sustain it’s success.

 

I’ve been asked for some time now to provide what is known in the business as ‘proppa techno’ and I’m sure the following selection will provide just that. The top three names on the list have a combined career of 62 years now, from first release to present day, so if you fancy a masterclass in the thumpy stuff look no further.

 

The Collect! and Itchy Pig crew will be providing the deeper side of life in the other room with able assistance from locally unsung hero Bozzwell.
